Andrew performs the role of Ed Wall in the Southern Premiere of Frances Pollock’s Stinney: An American Execution. This opera tells the tragic story of George Stinney, Jr., who is known as the youngest executed person in American history. At just 14 years of age and 90 pounds, the young black boy was wrongfully convicted of rape and murder of two white girls in Alcolu, South Carolina and sentenced to death by electrocution.
